Lucidity – LucasArts Reminds Us of Classic Children’s Book Games

LucasArts presents a game in which a little girl keeps moving in XBLA/PC puzzle game. While many players who played it considered it as a cute story game with colorful water-color like graphics, some reckoned it was a $10 fetcher puzzle game easily downloadable to PC, but to tell the truth, all you’re doing is kill a little girl repeatedly!

Although, players try their best to keep her alive, but because of the type of design used in the game, the chances of failure are too high, and the developers have covered this up by granting that she wakes up from her dream every time you make a mistake. While this factor may be motivating many players to try again and again, others see this as a negative.

The whole game revolves around a little girl named Sophie, who is walking in her dream, and you make sure she keeps moving smoothly. Although, you don’t enjoy a direct control over her movements, you use fans to guide her, provide platforms so that she remains on her feet, use dynamites to clear out her way and help her move over gaps and so on. At the end of the day, you can treat this as an escort mission, but it doesn’t end until she reaches the end of her path without getting trapped somewhere or encounter an enemy.

Despite the fact that there are some loopholes in the design of the game, if you’re still one of those gamers who overlook little problems and if you’re still smiling after reading the above facts about this pc game, Lucidity is recommended to you!
