Star Wars 2010: The Old Republic PC Game Review – Developers Reveal the Final Two Exciting Classes!

BioWare and LucasArts have kept us waiting to learn about the last two classes for their latest sensation, Star Wars: The Old Republic. While already six of the eight classes have been revealed by the developers with Jedi Knight, Smuggler and Trooper from the Republic’s side and Bounty Hunter, Imperial Agent and Sith Warrior making up the Sith’s side, there has been much anticipation and conjecture as to what should be expected from the last two spots. But finally BioWare and LucasArts raise the curtain and reveal that Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitor were the two mystery classes kept secret for so long and a little peak at the initial chapters of Sith Inquisitor was also allowed.

Unlike other Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games in which classes are designed to give new edge to the overall storyline of the game, the basic theme behind the development of eight classes in LucasArts’s newest creation, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is to keep up with the Star Wars fantasy. It has been made sure that each and every class being created has its own scintillating storyline and fantastic combat missions.
Great news for fans of Han Solo, a character played by George Harrison in the movie, is that some of the specifications of the Smuggler class were also revealed. And of course, we all know that this class is themed on Han Solo character with distinct tricky combat style and run-for-cover strategy. Two features of Smuggler class is that players can either get their talky powers rolling by choosing the Gunslinger path which will provide them with higher level of blaster and cover, while your ability to persuade by talking will also come handy. The other path focuses on better enabling you to win short-range combats and use your healing powers. While some gamers might not recognize the importance of the healing ability, they must remember that smugglers aren’t welcomed very warmly in hospitals when they need a doctor because of their track-record. Spending time in the vast and dangerous surroundings in The Old Republic Game, your ability to survive fatal attacks with the help of your healing power is going to be a handy feature!

While so much information and features of the game have come to light recently, with the knowledge about the latest two classes of warriors, gamers are going to wait eagerly for the release date. Not too many aspects of the game are in the dark right now, except for the fact that players would still love to learn more about traveling in space, conversations, crafts and PVP. And we can only hope that the developers will let out some more secrets about Star Wars 2010: the Old Republic Game just for the sake of the fans.
